Kawakawa herbal latte is an instant mix coffee alternative that features our native kawakawa leaf.  It contains a unique and delicate flavour that comes from an infusion between our native botanicals paired with organic Japanese matcha. Kawakawa latte is a perfect option for those who find matcha too grassy.

Kawakawa latte pairs well with alternative and dairy milks alike.

Flavour profile: Warm and gentle green notes. Rich flavours, warm felt effect and slightly tingly on the palate, this feeling comes from the unique qualities of the Kawakawa leaf. 

Ingredients
organic sweetener coconut blossom sap nectar, kawakawa leaf powder, organic matcha, organic horopito and mānuka leaf powders
Directions
Place 2 teaspoons of latte mix into cup.  Pour 1/4 cup of hot water in and stir. Pour in your frothed milk and stir gently.

The kawakawa latte will be a certified organic product by mid 2026. This means that harvesting will come from organic, plantation grown kawakawa trees.

Certified organic means being free from synthetic chemical residues such as pesticides and herbicides that can be present in non organic grown plants and their end products. Choosing certified organic is a way to promise purity. 

Organic certified also supports sustainable farming practices by ensuring that our wild stands of kawakawa trees are not over harvested for commercial use.
